A FAITH DRIVEN LIFE

Good morning,  The last couple of weeks were a very busy time. Apologies for the break, but I am back, and today I share something that I believe is the most important part of a Christian's life on this earth. Acknowledging the Holy Spirit daily at all times in every moment.  Background: The Farewell Discourse in John 13–17, also called the Upper Room Discourse, contains Jesus’ final private teachings to his disciples following the Last Supper. In these chapters, Jesus washes their feet, commands them to love one another as he has loved them, promises the Holy Spirit, and uses the vine-and-branches image to stress that we must abide in him. Content: There is a moment in the Gospel of John where Jesus says something that must have unsettled His disciples. In John 15, He speaks of leaving them, of a coming separation they were not ready to face. But yet in the same breath, He gives a promise that carries more weight than their fear. Good afternoon! This weekend has really been one of those quiet, meaningful times for me. As God’s children, we’re supposed to pause and think about what the big Christian holidays actually stand for, and Easter is right at the top of that list. I’ve spent most of the week just sitting with the deeper side of Jesus’ death and what it really means for me personally. It really hit different this year. And I know it's because I have been searching Him more than ever before. Then this morning at church… wow. Watching people step forward and give their lives to Christ was the highlight of the whole weekend. It felt like the Holy Spirit was right there in the room with us. Such a powerful time. You know how it goes every year, churches share a ton of messages around Easter. And honestly, a lot of people who don’t normally come only show up for funerals, weddings, or Easter services.
