You are not Alone

Image
. Good Evening, There's a secret worth sharing—one that happens every single day , yet so few people truly notice it or let it sink in. After you read this, I hope you'll pass it on, wherever life takes you—high and low, to friends, family, strangers. It could change someone's day. In this huge world of ours, I talk to people all the time who tell me how alone they feel. Honestly, I've been there too. When life hit hard and things fell apart, I pulled away and isolated myself. But not everyone ends up alone by choice—sometimes circumstances, pain, or shame just push people there. Think back to Genesis 3:8–9. Right after the fall, something brand new happens in human history. Adam and Eve hide from God, suddenly aware of their nakedness and the weight of their sin. And God calls out the very first question recorded in Scripture: "Where are you?" That wasn't God lost or needing directions. He knew exactly where they were. It was a tender, searching cal...

Allowing good seed in our life

Image
Good morning, The last week we have had a tough, difficult week. We can all associate with those types of weeks. Both Wilma and I had a serious bout of flu that we needed to navigate. I want to share an interesting subject that the Holy Spirit spoke into my heart.  I heard very clearly these words spoken into my spirit: "corruptible" and "incorruptible seed," and what followed was an amazing experience.  Not only was the sermon on Sunday morning exactly on that topic matter, but it also made me sit and spend time on what this really means. 1. How the Rebirth (Being Born Again) Takes Place Imagine you’re planting a tiny seed in your garden. The old, natural way we’re born is like planting in poor, rocky soil—it’s the “perishable seed” we all start with. It grows for a while, but eventually it withers because of hurts, mistakes, and the brokenness sin brings into every life. But God offers something far better. 1 Peter 1:23 (NIV) says: “For you have been born again,...

Your Amazing Grace

Image
Good morning,  I wrote a new post on Friday, 13 Feb, but then, after meditating about it for some time, I decided to delete it. I felt the message was not shared clearly enough, and the story told was taking away focus from the real message God wants us to hear. So this is the new version.  I want to share something with you in love, something that touched me very deeply and the message penetrated every fiber of my being in mind and spirit. It is a gentle but urgent warning that is shaping my own walk with God. The Holy Spirit was consistently reminding me of the importance of this message. When we get saved, changed, or touched by God, that moment and instance will bring a sense of strong awe and amasement of God's grace. But as time passes and we allow the experience to wear off, over weeks, months, or even years, we can find ourselves slowly drift into a place where we treat that holy encounter like something that was ordinary. Maybe we felt that it was owed to us by...

What is your foundation?

Image
Good afternoon, friends and family! What an incredible weekend we had. It was so encouraging to see the pure joy on someone’s face because of their new pet, and then to hear another person’s powerful testimony about a work breakthrough after almost four months of standing in faith. God’s goodness really never stops. Yesterday in church—especially during worship—I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me very clearly: “What is your foundation?” In God’s Kingdom and in His Word, I’ve learned that there are often hidden truths and fresh revelations waiting to be discovered. That led me to this verse: Isaiah 28:16 (NIV) “So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: ‘See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic .’” This scripture is a prophetic promise pointing straight to Jesus. It’s a very important one because the whole church – us, God’s children—is built on this cornerstone, this founda...

We need to speak Jesus!

Image
Good afternoon, Over the past week, a few real things happened to real people around here—things that stirred up emotions, some good and some tough. The challenge we all face on this earth is finding a way to handle both the highs and lows without losing our focus—keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus on the cross, no matter how hard it gets sometimes. We had power cuts that threw us off balance for a bit. We managed with backup power… until I accidentally blew the generator. Then my wife broke a tooth—the second one in just a month. Two unplanned dental bills in quick succession, and they're not cheap. The microwave gave up about a month ago too. Our daughter was sick for six long weeks before we finally got the right diagnosis—thank God she's healed and doing well now. And to top it off, our water bill came in 30% higher than usual. I know you probably have your own list too. We all do. Some of us are dealing with no job at all, others are raising kids alone, and some are stretchin...

Staying in your lane

Image
Good afternoon, everyone. In this week, as I drove from home to the office through early traffic, I watched the usual chaos unfold on the multilane highway. Cars jammed bumper-to-bumper, crawling at a snail's pace. Drivers swerved frantically from lane to lane, desperately chasing the "fastest" one. I've seen it countless times—it's almost entertaining. Yet, staying steady in my lane, I often end up ahead of those same swervers a few kilometers down the road. Their zigzagging rarely gets them there quicker; it just burns more fuel and stress. In that moment, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart, and this is the message He laid on me today. He said His children are doing the same thing in their spiritual lives—constantly switching "lanes," jumping from one quick thing to the next, always hunting for the fastest route to breakthrough, blessing, or closeness with Him. Let me give some context: The life we live today has become a superhighway of q...

Giving God Everything: A Recipe for Victory

Image
Good afternoon, I was standing in church on Sunday morning and saw a friend I have not spoken to in a while. And as we were catching up, my heart was filled with sadness, as there is too much time spent on stuff in our lives and not enough "investing" in our friends' and families' lives.  I was sad to hear that he has been going through a tough time, and as he was talking to me, I decided to share a story with him that was shared with me many years ago. It is not my story but a story told by Reinhard Bonnke on many of his crusades. It was a story that delivered a message of submission, surrender, and supplication to God.  Today, I share the story here and trust it will speak to your heart as it did mine, as the Holy Spirit said I need to share this:  A Recipe for Victory: The Parable of the House I’ve always loved the way Reinhard Bonnke told stories. He had this gift for painting vivid pictures that stuck with you long after the sermon ended. One parable he shared ma...
