Staying in your lane

Image
Good afternoon, everyone. In this week, as I drove from home to the office through early traffic, I watched the usual chaos unfold on the multilane highway. Cars jammed bumper-to-bumper, crawling at a snail's pace. Drivers swerved frantically from lane to lane, desperately chasing the "fastest" one. I've seen it countless times—it's almost entertaining. Yet, staying steady in my lane, I often end up ahead of those same swervers a few kilometers down the road. Their zigzagging rarely gets them there quicker; it just burns more fuel and stress. In that moment, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart, and this is the message He laid on me today. He said His children are doing the same thing in their spiritual lives—constantly switching "lanes," jumping from one quick thing to the next, always hunting for the fastest route to breakthrough, blessing, or closeness with Him. Let me give some context: The life we live today has become a superhighway of q...

Giving God Everything: A Recipe for Victory

Image
Good afternoon, I was standing in church on Sunday morning and saw a friend I have not spoken to in a while. And as we were catching up, my heart was filled with sadness, as there is too much time spent on stuff in our lives and not enough "investing" in our friends' and families' lives.  I was sad to hear that he has been going through a tough time, and as he was talking to me, I decided to share a story with him that was shared with me many years ago. It is not my story but a story told by Reinhard Bonnke on many of his crusades. It was a story that delivered a message of submission, surrender, and supplication to God.  Today, I share the story here and trust it will speak to your heart as it did mine, as the Holy Spirit said I need to share this:  A Recipe for Victory: The Parable of the House I’ve always loved the way Reinhard Bonnke told stories. He had this gift for painting vivid pictures that stuck with you long after the sermon ended. One parable he shared ma...

Why Did God Save You for these Days?

Image
A Message that will shift your perspective If you reflect on roughly 6,000 years of human history—kings rising and falling, prophets speaking, miracles unfolding, revivals igniting, and rebellions crashing—I've come to a stunning realization: God didn't place you and me in this moment by accident. He sovereignly chose the exact time and place for every soul to enter history. Think about it. He handpicked Abraham for the wilderness promise, Moses for the Exodus deliverance, David for facing Goliath, Esther for such a time as Persia, and the apostles for witnessing Christ's first coming. Every generation had its assigned vessels. And now? He chose us for this one. I could almost cry thinking about it. Why not save the strongest saints from centuries past for today? Why not Elijah, Isaiah, or Paul? Why did He preserve you —and me—for the final chapter? Scripture gives us a glimpse in Ephesians 2:7: “…that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in...

Be an example

Good morning! My mother and I spoke about my grandfather and grandmother on my father's side this morning. And this made my mind wander back, and I was reminded what an amazing example my grandfather was to his family. As a young boy I saw him at church every Sunday. He was an impressive big 6ft 4 inch man with huge hands but with a soft heart and Godly wisdom. He loved God passionately, was an orphan and had a VERY difficult life. But God was always first. The Holy Spirit spoke to me about this and this is what is in my heart this morning from God. The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ is our ultimate example in how to live, suffer, love, and serve. We are called to imitate Him, follow in His steps, and reflect His character. At the same time, Scripture calls us to live as examples to one another, so that our lives point others to Christ through our words, actions, love, faith, and purity. Jesus as Our Example Jesus left us a pattern to follow: 1 Peter 2:21 — "For to t...

Your will never run out of oil

Good morning friends! Let’s spend time together for a moment as I take you through one of the most touching stories in the Bible — the story of the Widow of Zarephath.  God shared a prophetic word with me for a friend, and then after I shared that, the Holy Spirit kept talking to me about this biblical event.  I believe God wants to speak something so precious to our hearts right now, especially as we started our new year journey Picture this: A terrible famine has gripped the land. No rain. No food. People are desperate. And into this hard place, God sends His prophet Elijah… but not to a king, not to the rich, not even to someone who seems “qualified.” God sends him to a poor widow in Zarephath — a place far from Israel, among foreigners. Also keep in mind that Elijah was a GENTILE! When Elijah arrives as God has instructed, he finds her gathering a few sticks. She tells him quietly: “This is my last handful of flour and a little oil. I’m going to make one last meal for me a...

Life Balance

Image
Good morning everyone! 8 January 2026 Wow, we're already into the second week of January! 😅  Time really does fly by, hey? It just reminds me how important it is for us as children of God to keep our eyes on the things that truly matter – and to live our lives with that Godly balance we're called to. I hear it everywhere, "work-life balance" – like it's this big goal you finally tick off if you make all the right decisions. There's no shortage of courses, life coaches and Instagram reels promising they'll show us how to nail it. And as January 2026 arrived, suddenly everyone's talking resolutions, habits and upgrading their lives. But for us as God's children, I think we need to pause and ask some real questions:  ✨ How does this stuff actually line up with my walk with Jesus?  ✨ Are the changes I'm chasing sustainable, or will they be a memory by February?  ✨ Am I planning my days so that God's will is right there in the middle – obvious ...

A message from God for 2026

Image
A Message from God for 2026 Good morning, During my prayer time from December 26–28, the Holy Spirit gave me this word for the year ahead, drawn from Genesis 22:1–7. When God called Abraham, God gave him a difficult instruction that demanded immediate obedience—to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice. Yet when Abraham arrived at the place of sacrifice, he spoke these words to his servants: Genesis 22:5 (NIV) “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” Notice what Abraham declared: “we will come back.” The Holy Spirit revealed to me that God had already shown Abraham the end before the beginning. He spoke the outcome in faith before he saw it. For 2026: If My children will hear the call of My voice, obey My instructions, and act upon them in faith, I will show them the end of the year before the beginning of the year. God will give us eyes to see the victory before the trial fully unfolds. God will place words of f...
