Why Did God Save You for these Days?

A Message that will shift your perspective

If you reflect on roughly 6,000 years of human history—kings rising and falling, prophets speaking, miracles unfolding, revivals igniting, and rebellions crashing—I've come to a stunning realization: God didn't place you and me in this moment by accident.

He sovereignly chose the exact time and place for every soul to enter history.

Think about it. He handpicked Abraham for the wilderness promise, Moses for the Exodus deliverance, David for facing Goliath, Esther for such a time as Persia, and the apostles for witnessing Christ's first coming. Every generation had its assigned vessels.

And now? He chose us for this one.

I could almost cry thinking about it. Why not save the strongest saints from centuries past for today? Why not Elijah, Isaiah, or Paul? Why did He preserve you—and me—for the final chapter?

Scripture gives us a glimpse in Ephesians 2:7: “…that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”

The “ages to come” include these days—the last days. God planned, before the foundation of the world, to display the overwhelming, extravagant riches of His grace through people like us in the darkest, most deceptive season humanity has faced.

Acts 17 reminds us: He “determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” He didn’t guess. He knew. He saw your face before Genesis 1:1. He knew the temptations you’d battle, the trials you’d walk through, the culture you’d stand against. And still—knowing everything—He said, “This is the one I want for the last days.”

You weren’t born late. You were born on time.

Jesus described these last days in Matthew 24: deception multiplying, wars and rumors of wars, lawlessness increasing, love growing cold. Yet in the midst of it, He was thinking of you. He knew you would carry His name when others run. He trusted you to keep your lamp burning when so many go dim. He believed you would stand when the world bows to idols, speak when truth is silenced, and shine when darkness presses in.

Your life isn’t random. Your struggles aren’t meaningless. Your battles are not unseen.

We may be living in the most prophetic, climactic, history-defining moment since the resurrection of Christ. What an incredible honor—to be trusted with the final chapter.

This isn’t just “the end.” It’s the grand finale. The Kingdom is coming, and you were chosen to help usher it in.

So don’t lose heart. Don’t grow weary. You were born for such a time as this—not because of your own strength, but because of His purpose and power flowing through you.

In the ages to come, God will point to lives like yours and say, “Look what My grace did in the last days.”

You were handpicked. You were preserved. You were saved for exactly this moment.

What a privilege. What a God we serve.

Amen and hallelujah. Let’s show the world who He is. See you in the clouds—in His perfect time.

What a time to be alive.
